Here for your browsing pleasure is a beautiful map of the central portion of the United States showing the lines of the proposed Pacific railroads. Strip map of the United States between 36 degrees and 47 degrees north latitude. Shows rivers, state borders, and trails in the western half of the map. Indicates the proposed lines for the western, central, and eastern divisions of the Union Pacific Railroad. It was created in the 1850's.
