Here for your perusal is a map of Mount Vernon; A plan of Mr. Clifton's neck land platted by a scale of 50 poles to the inch / by TH 1755 & copied by G W-n 1760. Old plat of the grounds in the NE part of the pasture of Mount Vernon from the summit of the hills on which the log'd cabbins are. It was made in 1760.
