Here we present an intriguing Geological map of the state of Virginia / made under the direction of Maj. A.A. Humphreys ; by Tho. S. Ridgeway, geologist &c., formerly of the Geological Survey of Va., March 1862. It was created in 1862.

A map of the state of Virginia reduced from the nine sheet map of the state in conformity to law / by Herman Böÿe 1828. Corrected by order of the Executive 1859 by L. v. Buchholtz. Prime meridian: Washington D.C. Pen-and-ink and watercolors.
