Richmond Region (Va.).

From 39th Cong., 1st Sess. [1862]-Report of the Chief Engineer, U.S.A. No. 12. "Authorities. North of James & Appomattox from photograph map captured from the enemy. South of Do. from surveys of Col. N. Michler, Corps of Engineers." Union works are colored red and Confederate works are blue. Map includes roads, railroads, towns, street patterns of Petersburg, Richmond, and Manchester, drainage, relief by hachures, and houses and names of residents in outlying areas.
