Here for your consideration is a stunning chart of the Hudson River; Titled: Carte de l'entrée de la rivière d'Hudson, dépuis Sandy-Hook jusques à New-York avec les bancs, sondes, marques de navigation &c. Rédigée d'après un plan anglois au Dépôt général de la marine, par ordre de M. de Sartine, conseiller d'Etat, ministre et secrétaire d'Etat, au Département de la marine. It was taken in 1778.
