Here for your consideration is an original chart of Extract from the original (large scale) map of Gettysburg battle field in 4 sheets, being portions of sheets 2 and 3 lying S. & S.W. of the town of Gettysburg. It was taken in 1886.

Shows the Emmitsburg and Taneytown roads. Depicted are roads, buildings, names of residents, fence lines, vegetation, and fortifications, and relief by contour lines at intervals of 4 feet.
