Above we show a chart of Hotchkiss' geological map of Virginia and West Virginia / the geology by Prof. William B. Rogers, chiefly from the Virginia State survey, 1835-41, with later observations in some parts. It was taken in 1875.

Geology.

"The great Limestone valley" and the "Lower coal measures coking coals" and ink annotations showing radial distances from Buchanan.
