Above we show an important map of the attack of Fort Clinton and Montgomery which was stormed by His Majesty's forces under the command of Sr. Henry Clinton, KB, the 6th of October 1777. Copied from the surveys of Verplank, Holland, Matcalve [sic] &c. By Iohn Hill Lieut. in the 23d Regt. of Foot or Royal Welch Fusileers. It was created in 1782.
