You are viewing a one-of-a-kind map of Field works at Franklin, Tenn., occupied by the 23d and 4th corps during engagement of Nov. 30th 1864, Maj. Gen. J. M. Schofield, comdg. It was made in 1864. Indicates troop positions and names of commanders, roads, "Nashville and Decatur R.R.," drainage, relief by hachures, and a few houses and names of occupants.
