Here for your enjoyment is an inspiring chart of Virginia, Maryland and Delaware exhibiting the post offices, post roads, canals, rail roads &c. by David H. Burr, (late topographer to the Post Office,), geographer to the House of Representatives of the U.S. It was made in 1839.
Map shows counties shaded in different colors. Details of railroads, roads, waterways and geogrphic features are shown. Cities and towns are indicated.
