Here for your perusal is a stunning chart of the line of the Alabama & Tennessee River Rail Road and its proposed extensions; exhibiting also the contiguous mineral deposits and zone of production. It was created New York, 1867, c1865.
County and township map of Alabama and vicinity showing drainage, cities and towns, and main railroads in heavy lines. Chartered in 1848. Reorganized in 1866 under title of Selma, Rome, and Dalton Railroad.
