The original map does not show indicated discoveries or explorers' routes. Title and place-names in Russian; added notes in French. Ferro meridian. "Photo-lithographed from original print in the Hall of Maps and Charts, Library of Congress, by Norris Peters Co., Washington, August 1898." Includes notes added in handwriting to the original. Scale [ca. 1:5,000,000 at 550N.
