Bull Run, 1st Battle of, Va., 1861.
This is the best and most detailed map of the Battle of Bull run that we have seen. It shows the area between Washington DC, and Manassas. Washington DC is shown in some detail, with lots of detail on the location of fortifications, troops, army camps, and entrenchments. Similar detail around Bull Run, near Manassas. Upper portion of map has detailed insets showing Leesburg, and rebel batteries on the Potomac. The map also shows details of the roads, railroads, and water ways in the area. Ships are shown on the Potomac River.
